21 Days of Thanks: Day 6

I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am for my parents.

They have always been so supportive of me (and my sister). My Daddy has always pushed me to be the best version of myself. Even in Calculus in high school when I thought I would fail. My Momma is my best friend. Even when I’m in an ill mood and she probably wants to hang up on me. Today especially I’m thankful that they raised us to know that voting is a privilege but no matter who wins the election, God is always in control.

My parents live in Texas, so we really only see them a few times a year (more this past year because of wedding events). But they’re coming to visit TOMORROW! I’m so excited! And I just can’t hide it! Now I just have to get that excited about cleaning up the guest room before they come….
