I spent this past Tuesday through Friday in Las Vegas for a work conference! While I did learn a lot and meet a lot of great people, we also made time for some fun!
We stayed at the Venetian and it was so beautiful! This was the view from my room.
All of their rooms are suites, and they are truly fabulous! I didn’t spend much time here, but the bed was comfortable! The best part, though…
This bathroom. Y’all, it was amazing! Spacious with great lighting and the shower was wonderful!
We ate at Wazuzu at the Wynn (which is my favorite casino — it’s so pretty!) right under the crystal dragon (I NEED this in my dining room!)…
And then we saw Le Reve – The Dream at the Wynn Theater. The show was breathtaking! Now I understand why it’s been voted the best show in Vegas for three years running! I would go again and again and again (if my budget would allow!).
We also went to see Rock of Ages at the Venetian. We were in the very last row of the theater and got a free upgrade to sit almost center in the “premier” seats! I just love 80s music and the show was funny (but definitely PG-13!).
My favorite part of this week, though, was the Carnevale at the Venetian and the Palazzo! There were events every night and all of these beautiful masked people in the most beautiful costumes! This pretty lady greeted us on our way to the Wynn for Le Reve.
And I can’t even say thank you enough to our guest bloggers from this week! In case you missed it, Johnna from Peaceably Pretty shared a recipe for a Croque-Monsieur that I can’t wait to try! Denise shared pictures from her Fourth of July trip to Washington D.C. and My Friend Ashley FINALLY gave me (and you!) her Strawberry Bread recipe.
